Job Description Marine Diesel Technician$35-$45/hr Up to $8,000 Sign-On BonusTDW Marine is hiring an experienced Marine Diesel Technician in South Florida. We're looking for an experienced marine diesel technician with strong mechanical ability-someone who knows how to diagnose and fix things, takes pride in excellent work, and wants to keep growing as part of a strong technical team. TDW was built hand-in-hand with technicians, and that still shapes the company we're building today. We believe great technicians should be valued for their skill, have opportunities to keep growing, and have a real voice in how the work gets done. The Right Person Will Have 5-7+ years of professional marine diesel experience Strong mechanical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with major repairs and engine work Experience with MTU, Volvo Penta, CAT, Kohler and/or Northern Lights is highly valued Factory training or certifications are a plus Ability to work independently and take ownership of a job from start to finish What We Offer$35-$45/hour, based on experience and technical capability Up to $8,000 sign-on bonus, based on experience and training with the products we service Daily overtime opportunities Performance bonuses Medical, dental & vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid technical training 9 paid holidays + vacation Continued opportunities to grow technically and professionally
The Role:
This is a hands-on position working aboard yachts throughout South Florida-diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, major engine work, overhauls and repowers. You'll be trusted to own your work while working alongside a strong technical team and continuing to build your capabilities.
