Shift: Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm/3:30pm depending on workload
Pay Range: $20-$25/hour (based on experience)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team on a second-shift schedule. This role involves fabricating and welding structural components such as ladders, hail guards, and platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong MIG and Flux-core welding experience and be comfortable working in multiple welding positions.
Key Responsibilities: Weld structural components including ladders, hail guards, and platforms Perform MIG and Flux-core welding in overhead, downhill, and horizontal positions Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Accurately measure materials using a tape measure Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications: Proficiency in MIG and Flux-core welding required Must hold qualifications in AWS D1.1 (will consider ASME but prefer AWS).Ability to weld in overhead, downhill, and horizontal positions Basic blueprint reading skills Strong understanding of measurements and use of a tape measure Previous structural welding experience preferred Reliable and able to work assigned shift consistently
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift Capable of working in a production/shop environment
