Job description: Job Title: Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant / Receptionist
Locations: 492 6th Ave, New York, NY72-14 Austin St, Forest Hills, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Must be able to work both locations
Job Summary: Busy multi-location primary care practice seeking a Certified Medical Assistant / Receptionist with strong clinical and front-desk experience. This is a hands-on role requiring confidence in procedures and daily patient flow.
Responsibilities: Phlebotomy (required)EKG, spirometry, and ABI testing Room patients, take vitals, assist providers Insurance verification and eligibility checks Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Obtain prior authorizations for medications and testing Accurate documentation in eClinical Works (eCW)
Requirements: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – required Strong phlebotomy skills Experience with EKG, spirometry, and ABIeClinical Works experience required Knowledge of insurance verification and prior auths Reliable, organized, and punctual Ability to commute between Manhattan and Forest Hills
