Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing, repair, and preventive maintenance on diesel-powered fleet vehicles
- Inspect and service engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Identify mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and routine fleet maintenance
- Document all repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed accurately
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety and compliance standards before returning to service
- Coordinate with management on vehicle availability and repair timelines
- Knowledge of A/C and DEF systems are desired.
- Heavy lifting up to 150 LBS.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy-Duty Technician
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, drivetrains, and electrical components
- Proficiency with diagnostic software and mechanical tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsASE certification or equivalent trade school/vocational training preferred
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
