About the role
- Reporting to the System Director of Infectious Disease and leading a department of 4 physicians
- System-wide collaboration with over 25 ID physician colleagues 100% Infectious Disease. No primary care
- Inpatient consultations at 470-bed community teaching hospital
- Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment, STDs, and travel medicine
- Work towards continued growth of the Section of Infectious Disease
- Mentorship of junior faculty
- Oversee the hospital epidemiology program, working closely with Infection Prevention
- Work closely with our Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacists
- Postgraduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
- Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level
- Shared call with other ID physicians
