Warehouse & Property Maintenance PositionB&B Floor Coverings | Dryden, New YorkB&B Floor Coverings is a busy, well-established local flooring company seeking a reliable, dependable Warehouse & Property Maintenance team member to join our fast-paced operation.
This position combines warehouse responsibilities, delivery support, and property/building maintenance. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to work independently, comfortable in a physically demanding environment, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities throughout the workday.
Position Details:
Full-time or part-time opportunities available Approximately 30 plus hours per week, depending on position and availability
Salary: range listed may not apply - based on experience and hours worked
Work under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory
- Operate forklifts and gate lifts
- Load delivery trucks and transport flooring materials to job sites
- Receive and unload supplier deliveries
- Prepare and stage materials for installers’ daily work
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse
- Perform property maintenance, including mowing, weed trimming, and snowplowing
- Perform general building maintenance, painting, light carpentry, and related tasks
- Operate and maintain property maintenance equipment
- Communicate effectively with installers, coworkers, suppliers, and others
- Work independently while taking responsibility for completing assigned tasks
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Ability to repeatedly lift 70–100 lbs.
- Forklift operation experience required
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is not required
- Dependable, responsible, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be drug-free
- Experience operating property maintenance equipment is a plus
- Previous warehouse, delivery, facilities, construction, or property maintenance experience is preferred
