The ideal candidate will handle high-volume inbound calls, respond to inquiries regarding eligibility, medical claims status, and program-related questions, and ensure accurate documentation of all interactions. This is an onsite opportunity open to local candidates who can reliably commute to the work location and maintain consistent attendance and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities: Handle high-volume inbound calls from Medicaid providers and members, providing prompt, courteous, and professional assistance. Respond to inquiries related to Medicaid eligibility, medical claims status, and other program-related services. Identify caller concerns, provide accurate information, and assist with resolving issues efficiently. Document all customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately in online systems and call logs. Transfer calls to appropriate departments or contact center units when additional assistance is required. Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach while managing multiple inquiries. Meet established individual performance goals, call-handling standards, quality requirements, and attendance expectations. Follow established procedures, guidelines, and service standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months of high-volume inbound call center experience within the last 12 months. Experience handling inbound customer inquiries in a contact center environment. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Strong verbal communication, active listening, and customer service skills. Excellent multitasking, problem solving, and documentation abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records. Must be a local candidate willing to work onsite.
