About the role

We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial Vice President of Marketing & Sales to lead commercialization of our client’s growing portfolio of prescription and healthcare products. The Vice President will have overall responsibility for sales, marketing, product positioning, physician engagement, new product launches and commercial strategy. The initial focus will be pediatrics, Mental Health and CNS.The position requires a hands-on executive who can develop strategy, build a commercial organization and personally participate in important customer, physician and thought-leader relationships.
Compensation: $150K-$200K salary plus bonus/commissions. The position will start as a 1099/consultant and be rolled over to W2 in the near future.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate should have:
Significant pharmaceutical or specialty healthcare commercial experience. Proven leadership of both sales and marketing functions. Experience managing and developing field sales organizations. Demonstrated success growing pharmaceutical or healthcare brands. Strong physician-office selling and product-launch experience. Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills. A willingness to travel and remain actively involved in the field. Experience in pediatrics, mental health, CNS, specialty pharmaceuticals, controlled substances, emerging pharmaceutical companies or new-product launches is highly desirable.
