About the role
- Represent Leafly at events, dispensary locations, and industry activations
- Actively engage with customers, patients, and brand partners
- Educate audiences on use of the Leafly app and Leafly.com beyond strain database and education including but not limited to shopping and deals.
- Support GTM initiatives including launches and partnerships at events and in dispensaries
- Build and maintain professional relationships with in-store personnel
- Create high-quality digital content across approved social media platforms to promote brand awareness and engagement
- Capture event photos, video, and content to support post-event recaps and internal reporting
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on campaign ideas, event opportunities, social trends, areas for improvement, competitive information/activity, etc.
- Assist with event setup, breakdown, and vendor coordination as needed
- Collect and report market insights, feedback, and competitive intelligence
- Ensure all activities comply with cannabis regulations and brand guidelines
- Submit recaps and photos about time in the field including store visits, events, and budtender engagement.
- Remain up to date with industry's best practices
- Good knowledge of cannabis and cannabis technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and high integrity
- Ability to travel locally and work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Prior experience in cannabis, retail, marketing, or brand ambassadorship a plus
- Comfort with Google sheets, excel, and basic data tracking a plus
- Minimum age 21 Ability to lift event materials of up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
