CNC Machinist – Setup / Operator Clearwater, FL | First Shift | $21+/ hour, based on experience We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts. This role requires hands-on machining experience, blueprint reading, troubleshooting skills, and close attention to quality and tolerances.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and workholding; perform tool changes and set offsets.
  • Adjust machine offsets and cutting parameters to maintain dimensional accuracy.
  • Read engineering drawings, work instructions, and machining specifications.
  • Inspect in-process and finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to maintain quality and machine performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-on CNC machining experience is required.
  • Experience setting up and operating both CNC lathes and mills is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting production schedules and quality standards.
Schedule: First shift, starting at 7–8 AM and ending at 4 PM.
