Job Description Job Description Responsibilities: Demonstrate personal and professional conduct consistent with the mission, beliefs and ideals of The Catholic Cemeteries AssociationAssist and train with Master Mechanic and Service Technician at Central MaintenanceHands on training repairing and performing PM on trucks, tractors and various pieces of equipmentDiagnosing vehicle problems using diagnostic tools and expertise, performing repairs on engines, brakes, and other components, conducting routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations, and communicating with customers about vehicle issues and repairs. Mechanics also manage repair logs, ensure safety standards are met, and stay updated on evolving vehicle technologiesPromote an overall high level of communication and positive attitudeQualifications: PA State Certified Safety Inspector License (required or willing to obtain) Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of vehicle mechanical and electronic systemsDiagnostic Tools: Proficiency in using specialized tools, including computerized diagnostic equipmentProblem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issuesManual Dexterity: Skilled in using various hand tools and performing hands-on repair workCommunication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with management and other techniciansAdaptability: A commitment to staying current with advancements in automotive technologyExcellent time management Company Description The Catholic Cemeteries Association, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is dedicated to providing essential services with compassion.
