About the role
Job Purpose:
The Sales & Business Development Executive will be responsible for acquiring new clients, expanding the customer base, developing existing business, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives within the refrigeration and cold chain industry. The role requires strong techno-commercial understanding, channel and direct sales expertise, customer engagement, and willingness to travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and expand the customer base.
Identify customer needs and provide insights to improve the product portfolio.
Develop and implement countermeasures based on customer feedback.
Drive both channel distribution and direct sales.
Build strong customer relationships through regular interactions and follow-ups.
Identify opportunities to retain existing customers and grow business.
Technical & Commercial
Prepare and support selection software and techno-commercial proposals.
Apply knowledge of refrigeration technology and cold chain industry to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Marketing & Market Development
Plan and participate in exhibitions and other marketing activities.
Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and industry developments.
Prepare and submit monthly sales and market development reports.
Be flexible to travel as required for customer meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities.
Team & Business Management
Prioritize critical business areas and focus on key opportunities.
Delegate responsibilities effectively and lead key business initiatives.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales and customer requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile:
3 - 5 years of relevant experience in sales and business development.
Experience in the refrigeration and cold chain industry.
Strong understanding of channel distribution and direct sales.
Good techno-commercial proposal preparation and customer presentation skills.
Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively for business requirements.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.
