Job TitleThis position cleans oil off of stampings by various methods, and tumbles and deburrs parts as part of the finishing process. An Overview Of What You'll Be Doing • Operates all equipment in the department safely and efficiently. • Uses the proper media and chemicals in the correct amounts and according to instructions to achieve the desired results. • Properly documents the processes performed on each part. • Places the finished parts in the proper containers after they have been finished. • Maintains equipment in a clean condition to ensure lot integrity. • Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.
Skills & Abilities: Required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, including simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions
  • Ability to operate department equipment safely and efficiently Preferred
  • Knowledge of finishing techniques and processes
  • Understanding of ISO/IATF 16949
Qualifications: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); three months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to gain proficiency through on-the-job training
