About the role

Support Families. Strengthen Communities. Change Lives. EBCAP is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthy Families America (HFA) Family Visitor to provide home-based support to families with young children. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by helping families build healthy relationships, access critical resources, and achieve their goals in a strength-based, family-centered environment. The HFA Family Visitor is responsible for providing structured home-visiting services designed to support child development, parenting skills, family health, and overall well-being. Key responsibilities include conducting home visits, completing assessments, developing family-centered goals, and connecting families with community resources while ensuring compliance with Healthy Families America and Rhode Island Department of Health standards. At EBCAP, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization committed to improving the lives of children and families throughout our community. Your work will have a direct and meaningful impact every day.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
