Salary Range: $63,401.31- $84,640.75 General Description and Classification Standards: The assignment will conduct inspections for the Healthy Homes Atlanta grants. The Lead Inspector is responsible for conducting lead risk assessments to ensure residential units are free from lead-based paint hazards and that any lead abatement activities have been properly completed in compliance with federal standards. This position plays a critical role in protecting public health by ensuring adherence to HUD and environmental safety regulations. The Lead Inspector operates with a high level of technical expertise and regulatory knowledge and is expected to maintain accurate documentation and reporting. Supervision Received: Works under general supervision, receiving directions from program management or environmental leadership. Exercises independent judgement in conducting inspections and assessments in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
