Description: This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Travere as we continue to grow in support of our commitment to identify, develop, and deliver life-changing therapies to people living with rare disease. During Travere Therapeutics' 11-week Early Career Talent Internship Program, beginning June 7, 2027, the intern will work in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite and 3 days virtually per week) and gain mentorship and cross-functional exposure while contributing to team objectives. The internship program will conclude with an opportunity to deliver a final presentation summarizing project work, key findings, contributions, and learning from the internship to senior leadership. The Combination Product Packaging Intern will support a project related to commercial packaging for pegtibatinase and gain practical exposure to packaging development for a combination product, owning a defined component of the broader packaging project.
Responsibilities: Learn foundational concepts related to commercial packaging for a biopharmaceutical combination product. Support a defined workstream within the pegtibatinase commercial packaging project. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the contract packaging organization (CPO) on project activities and information gathering. Develop or refine key performance indicators (KPIs) for packaging, or complete another defined packaging deliverable based on project needs. Organize and analyze relevant packaging information to support project decisions and continuous improvement. Document project requirements, findings, and recommendations in a clear and structured manner. Prepare and deliver a final presentation summarizing project contributions, deliverables, and key learnings related to combination product packaging. Education/
Experience Requirements: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in packaging engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field, with at least one semester to complete prior to graduation. Coursework or project experience involving packaging, manufacturing, engineering, operations, or data analysis is preferred. Additional Skills/

Interest in combination products, commercial packaging, manufacturing, and biopharmaceutical operations. Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners in a professional manner. Comfort working with metrics and translating project information into practical KPIs or recommendations. All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.
