Senior Laboratory Technician Geocomp's Geo Testing Express (GTX) is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join our Soil Testing Laboratory in Elmsford, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to advance their career in geotechnical testing. You will work on state-of-the-art automated testing equipment, advanced processes, and real-world projects that support site characterization, geotechnical design, quality control, and performance assessment. You will be part of a new team of laboratory professionals committed to delivering fast, accurate, and high-quality geotechnical testing services as we open our new laboratory location in New York. Key Responsibilities: Perform laboratory testing on soil Collect, record, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detail Assist with laboratory projects and daily operations as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and process compliance
Qualifications: Required Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Organized, adaptable, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory testing experience — full training will be provided Preferred Coursework or exposure to earth sciences, geology, civil, or environmental engineering is a plus (not required)Physical Demands &
