(SFI), a USAToday Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Managers to lead Agile delivery teams supporting a portfolio of mission-critical software development initiatives for a Federal Government customer. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the programmatic, financial, personnel, and reporting aspects of 1-3 Agile software development teams (approximately 6 team members per team). This role serves as the primary interface with government stakeholders while ensuring the successful delivery of complex IT initiatives in a federal environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary liaison between government clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service deliveryLead and support complex Agile development efforts across functional, technical, and policy domainsDefine project scope, phases, deliverables, milestones, and evaluation criteriaDevelop and implement tools and processes to track project performance, workflows, and deliverablesMonitor project assignments, timelines, and government deliverables to ensure accountability and adherence to schedulesCoordinate logistics and technology for meetings, including stakeholder engagement sessionsRespond promptly to team and client inquiriesOversee Help Desk operations (if applicable to assigned project)Prepare and deliver weekly status updates and monthly reports on project performance and progressManage full project lifecycle activities, including budgeting, staffing, vendor coordination, and release planningRequirementsMinimum of 10 years of experience managing large-scale, complex IT projectsDemonstrated experience managing Agile software development teamsHands-on experience with Jira and ConfluenceStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Public Trust clearance (fingerprinting required)Desired QualificationsPrior experience supporting federal government contractsExperience managing projects with a Help Desk or support services componentPreferred CertificationsProject Management Professional (PMP)SAFe Certification or equivalent Scrum Master certificationAdditional InformationClearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Background checks may include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Professional Certifications, and Credit History.
