About the role
Job Description:
Medical Scribe We are seeking an experienced Medical Scribe to support physicians during patient encounters and accurately document clinical information. The Medical Scribe will transcribe physician-dictated histories, physical examination findings, procedures, laboratory and radiographic results, patient education, diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, prescriptions, and pending orders.
Required:
6+ months of experience as a Medical Scribe Type 90+ WPMComputer proficiency and ability to learn new applications quickly Strong written communication, spelling, punctuation, and grammar Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessment Ability to accurately transcribe physician encounters Ability to prepare and edit scribed documents for physician review and signature High school diploma or GED required Flu shot
Preferred: College education in a related area of study Experience with CS-Link/EPIC
