Schedule:
PRN/As Needed, no set schedule. As a Transporter at Royal Oaks Hospital, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable transportation of patients. This position is based at Royal Oaks Hospital, a subsidiary of Compass Health Network.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport patients while following all traffic laws and ensuring seatbelt use • Work collaboratively with hospital staff to maintain smooth operations • Serve as a preceptor and mentor for new staff members • Complete required training and continuing education, including CALM and CPR • Observe urinalysis collection as needed • Report and schedule vehicle maintenance, emergency breakdowns, or accidents per policy • Promote quality improvement initiatives within the hospital • Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and comply with Federal, State, and TJC regulations Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High School/GED preferred Work Experience/Training/Additional Requirements: Experience in patient transportation, healthcare, or related field preferred Valid driver's license required Licensure/Certification: Must have a valid Class E Missouri driver's license or ability to obtain within 60 days You'll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You: Are dependable, safety-conscious, and adaptable to changing schedules Communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a team Take pride in supporting patients and staff through your reliability and professionalism Believe in providing not just a ride-but connection, care, and consistency to those you serve
