Finance Director – Reinsurance | NYCWe're partnering with a growing global specialty insurance organization on a high-visibility Finance Director hire in NYC.The company operates a differentiated MGA/program insurance model, partnering with MGAs and program administrators on specialty insurance programs while providing the insurance infrastructure and capacity behind those programs. Reinsurance is a significant component of the business model. This position will report directly to a highly respected CFO within the insurance sector and have significant exposure to the U.S. CEO, global leadership team, and broader business. Key Selling Points:• Direct report to the CFO with significant executive visibility• Exposure to the U.S. CEO and global leadership team• Work across MGA/program business, reinsurance finance and FP&A• Evaluate new and existing programs across profitability, collateral, liquidity, reinsurance structures and financial risk• Help build out budgeting, forecasting, analytics and executive reporting capabilities• Broad position rather than a siloed accounting or reinsurance role• Opportunity to help build and improve processes as the organization grows• Potential for the scope to expand from the U.S. business into international responsibilities• Excellent opportunity for a Big 4 insurance Manager/Senior Manager looking to make a high-impact move into industry Ideal Background:• Big 4 insurance audit Manager/Senior Manager OR insurance/reinsurance industry finance experience• P&C and/or Life Insurance exposure• Strong understanding of insurance/reinsurance finance• FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and/or profitability analysis experience• Strong analytical and communication skills• Hands-on, proactive personality who can operate effectively in a fast-moving environment• CPA is a plus
Compensation: $160K–$175K base + bonus, with flexibility for the right candidate
Location: Midtown NYC
