About the role

Overview In this role you will lead growth and value creation for the Performance Materials unit by steering major strategic initiatives. You’ll partner with senior leadership to shape long-term strategy, translate priorities into actionable plans, and drive disciplined execution across the organization. You will communicate progress to executives and play a key role in shaping the enterprise’s strategic agenda. This position offers visibility to the C-suite and the chance to impact long-term financial and strategic goals. Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of the business segment strategy and multi-year investment plans Establish and drive execution of major strategic initiatives with clear milestones, owners, and success metrics Personally lead large-scale, cross-functional strategic projects and ensure disciplined project management and stakeholder alignment Create concise strategy narratives and executive-ready presentations for Board and C-Suite communications Coordinate with M&A and strategic partnership efforts to identify growth targets Collaborate across functions (R&D, operations, commercial) in a global, matrixed organization Support problem solving and transformation to improve operational excellence across manufacturing footprint Communicate progress and facilitate reviews with functional owners and leadership teams Key requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, business, or related field Advanced degree, MBA highly preferred Minimum 10 years experience in General Management, manufacturing, quality, corporate development, or management consulting Proven history of leading strategy planning, development, and execution Manufacturing or B2B industrial environment experience and cross-functional project management preferred Networking and collaboration Analytical and problem-solving skills Team leadership and building Strategic planning Program management Performance measurement and governance
