Oxfam France Trailwalker Internship Internship opportunity, 6 months starting January 2021 Through its mission, Oxfam is committed to promoting the well-being of children, youth, women, and men. We work in more than 90 countries to find sustainable solutions to end the injustices that cause poverty. In France, Oxfam has been conducting citizen mobilization campaigns and pressure on political decision-makers for 30 years. It also contributes to emergency humanitarian actions and development projects of the network, in collaboration with partners and allies around the world. In 2021, Oxfam France organizes two editions of the Trailwalker Oxfam. This sporting and solidarity challenge consists of running 100 km, in teams of 4, in less than 30 hours and without relay. All registered teams commit to raising funds in advance of these events to support Oxfam France's actions. The 12th edition of the Trailwalker Oxfam will take place on May 8 and 9, 2021 in the Parc du Morvan, followed by the 2nd edition of the same event on July 3 and 4 in Normandy, starting from Dieppe (www.oxfamtrailwalker.fr).MissionsWithin the Direction of Citizen Engagement, and more specifically the Event Pole, the Intern in charge of event projects will mainly follow up on the teams registered for the two flagship events of Oxfam France (1,700 participants expected on the two events), in direct link with the Project Manager of Events. In this context, the intern will have the following missions within the Event Team: Assist in the follow-up of Trailwalker Oxfam participants: - Welcome newly registered teams, daily information (collection, training, day J, etc.), processing of information - Follow up on team progress in relation to fundraising and training objectives - Organize and animate presentation evenings for teams - Analyze the strategy for follow-up of participants post-event and analysis, feedback, and recommendations Help in the design and creation of communication tools for participants: web articles, emails, team guide, etc. Contribute to the implementation of team recruitment, in particular those composed of companies Assist in maintaining the telephone standard of the event pole and the dedicated email address Help in the preparation and participation in the coordination of each event weekend Participate in other Trailwalker Oxfam 2021 activities. Conditions
Status: 6-month internship, full-time, starting January 2021. Internship allowances + 2 days of paid time off per month, 50% transport pass + restaurant vouchers.
Workplace: avenue Parmentier, 75011 Paris. Remote work to be expected at certain times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Travel in France to be expected, especially to events.
