Customer Service Representative (Onsite in Lenexa, KS)
About the Opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service Representative to support our Lenexa plant. This role manages customer orders from entry through shipment while partnering with planning, production, sales, and other teams to balance customer needs with plant priorities.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately and timely enter and manage customer orders in accordance with accounting requirements. Collaborate with planning and production to prioritize, expedite, and manage orders and change requests. Coordinate with sister plants and external manufacturers as needed to support production requirements. Schedule shipments and optimize load building to meet on-time, in-full requirements while minimizing freight costs. Monitor customer-specific inventory programs, including Supplier Owned Inventory (SOI), and provide timely updates on inventory levels, order status, and production changes. Develop and maintain customer-specific reports and communicate updates to customers, sales, and operations. Serve as a plant representative in customer status reviews and support customer visits, training, and orientation. Coordinate new product and copy changes from development through initial shipment. Partner with Graphics to ensure priorities, information, and timelines are met. Support broker account management and assist Corporate Credit with accounts receivable issues. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
