Position Summary: Beasley Media Group is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Market Manager to lead the strategic, operational, and financial performance of a local media market. The Market Manager serves as the senior leader responsible for driving revenue growth, cultivating a high-performance culture, and maximizing the impact of Beasley Media Group's audio, digital, event, and marketing solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong business leader with a proven track record of revenue generation, team development, and market influence. This individual will inspire cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering exceptional results for advertisers, listeners, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Market Strategy Lead all aspects of market operations, including sales, programming, digital, promotions, engineering, and business administration. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve market revenue, profitability, and audience growth objectives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Build strong relationships with local business leaders, community organizations, and key stakeholders. Represent Beasley Media Group within the market and at industry events. Revenue Growth Drive revenue performance across broadcast, digital, event, and integrated marketing platforms. Collaborate with sales leadership to establish and achieve aggressive revenue goals. Identify new business opportunities and emerging revenue streams. Review sales pipelines, forecasting, and market performance metrics to ensure consistent growth. Lead and support key client relationships and strategic account development efforts. Talent Development Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing leaders and team members. Provide coaching and mentorship to department heads and sales leadership. Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures. Promote employee engagement and professional development across the organization. Operational Excellence Ensure efficient market operations and adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage budgets and maintain fiscal responsibility while maximizing business performance. Monitor market KPIs and implement corrective action plans when necessary. Collaborate with corporate leadership to support company initiatives and strategic priorities. Community Impact Strengthen Beasley Media Group's presence and reputation within the local community. Support local events, charitable initiatives, and public service efforts. Champion diversity, inclusion, and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications: Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media Management, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered. 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in media, advertising, broadcasting, digital marketing, or related industries. Demonstrated success leading revenue-generating teams and achieving business objectives. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships. Preferred Experience managing a radio, media, or multi-platform advertising operation. Knowledge of digital marketing products, audience analytics, and integrated advertising solutions.
