Job Description: We are looking for 1st shift Warehouse Worker located in the Elk Grove Village, IL area!
What you will do: We are looking for a warehouse worker to assist us in our warehouses to increase our efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. As a warehouse worker, your daily tasks include the preparation of merchandise, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, loading and unloading trucks and containers, and organizing, staging, and preparing finished products for shipping. To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. In this position, there will be different fronts you are going to be working with Manufacturing, Production and Distribution. Load and unload product for truck, flatbed or container Move product within the warehouse by using a forklift or overhead crane Prepare Metal A-frame return shipments Move waste from containers to dumpsters Report issues for quality control purposes by reviewing all incoming and outgoing products for damages Clean and maintain a safe working area ensuring that Health and Safety processes and procedures are met What you need to succeedPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Required: 2+ years of warehouse experience.2+ years of experience with warehouse equipment (crane, overhead crane, forklift, etc)EDUCATIONDesired: High School Diploma/GEDSKILLS
Required:
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Be able to stand for 8 hours or more a day
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • The starting hourly range for this position is $19 per hour!
