NXP in San Diego, CA seeks an AI/ML driven ASIC Design and Implementation Automation Engineer to explore AI/ML CAD techniques and build prototype automation for SoC and IP development. The role partners with AI/ML and automation experts, architecture, IP and SoC teams across sites to pilot methods that improve power, performance, and area. You will work on real designs using GenAI, RL, GNNs, CNNs to evaluate best automation solutions.
