About the Role: Hedley's Custom Construction is looking for a skilled Post Frame Builder to join our growing team in Burt, NY! This is a hands-on opportunity to craft quality post frame structures while working alongside a dedicated crew that takes pride in every build. If you love working outdoors and building things that last, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities: Construct post frame buildings including barns, garages, agricultural structures, and commercial buildings Set posts, install girts, purlins, trusses, roofing, and wall panels according to project plans Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently Collaborate with crew members to meet project timelines and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading at job sites
Requirements: Prior experience in post frame construction, carpentry, or general construction preferred Comfortable working at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
