Project Manager – Underground Utilities Charlotte, NC | $100,000–$125,000 + Bonus PoolA growing electrical and underground utility contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its Charlotte team. The company works on a range of commercial, healthcare, industrial and infrastructure projects, with a focus on underground electrical construction, including duct banks, manholes, directional drilling, cable pulling and site lighting.
The Role: You’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, working closely with field teams, subcontractors, customers and internal management.
Responsibilities will include: Managing projects from contract award through closeout Managing project budgets, schedules and overall performance Coordinating with Superintendents and field crews Reviewing plans, specifications, submittals and RFIsManaging change orders and project documentation Working with customers, engineers and subcontractors Monitoring costs, billing and project progress Making sure projects stay on schedule and within budget Supporting project planning and resolving issues as they arise What We’re Looking For 5+ years of construction project management experience Electrical, underground utility, civil or similar construction experience Strong understanding of project budgets, schedules and contracts Ability to communicate confidently with clients, subcontractors and field teams Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience managing multiple projects at once Construction-related degree is preferred but not essential What’s Offered$100,000–$125,000 base salary Bonus pool Medical, dental and vision 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Life insurance and additional voluntary benefits Long-term growth opportunities Supportive, established team
