About the role
- Operate high-volume mail processing equipment and ensure efficient mail handling.
- Sort, distribute, and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Maintain records for management reports and inventory of supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries regarding mail status.
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Use various office equipment, including scanners and computers, to manage mail operations.
- Ensure the upkeep of mail areas, keeping them organized and well-stocked.
- Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must have mail handling, mail sorting, or mail processing experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Some related copy job experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
- Valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage.
- Experience with image handling software and document scanning equipment.
