About the role
Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager or Supervisor ready to move into a Manager level role that has mechanical and electrical expertise? If you are you looking for stability, and growth, in a leadership role, we have an excellent opportunity in a large privately-held manufacturer. Responsibilitiesconsistently improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness Organize and manage maintenance staff to support the shift production in a seven day per week operation; Communicate with Production Supervisors to ensure that all equipment and facility emergency problems are addressed; Audit and train maintenance employees to procedures and best practice methodologies, as required. Work with the Production Staff to insure all set-ups are correct, to include running water jars through the system for confirmation;
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred not required)2-5 years of leadership experience leading a maintenance team in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience preferred Beverage manufacturing preferred not required Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability. Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), confined space, and hot work permit processes. Ability to manage maintenance personnel and support production operations across multiple shifts. Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
