Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Job Summary: Operators must be highly safety conscious, quality focused, proficient and accurate using tape measures, mechanically inclined, and experienced in computerized reporting. (Training is on 1st shift)

Job Duties: Runs the job by starting the machines, monitoring the production and running the number of sets specified on the Slitting Ticket-(MOVEX) Master Text on orders Labels all rolls produced by attaching the labels automatically printed when 'Slit to Ads" are entered into the computer system Enters into data collection each set produced by keying in information into the AS400 Makes adjustment to the machine during the run responding to problems found during visual inspection Matches material to product code on Slitting Ticket (MOVEX) Reviews the packing specifications by locating the information in the computer system to ensure the customer specifications are met Maintains a clean and orderly work area Maintains a safe working environment by following environments by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents Maintains company's quality standards Activates job into the computer systems by entering information from Slitting tickets Inspects film each day for any defects Reviews packing specifications Transports material and finished products to the appropriate location
