Job description:The Water Engineer in this role will be responsible for leading and supporting water infrastructure projects, including water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water resources management.This position is perfect for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible work arrangements that promote work-life balance.The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in civil and environmental engineering to develop sustainable solutions, manage complex projects, and ensure regulatory adherence.Qualifications:Open to remote work!RequiredExperience & Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or similarExperience working with and collaborating with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and team members.Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.Experience with water treatment systems, wastewater treatment processes, and water resources engineering.Strong experience with modeling tools such as SWMM, HEC software packages, GIS (ArcGIS), AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Mechanical CAD.Experience working with the rules of environmental laws, EPA regulations, environmental permitting procedures, and environmental compliance standards.Experience and understanding with geotechnical engineering principles and construction practices related to water infrastructure projects.Experience with data collection, combined with research experience in environmental or civil engineering fields.Nice to have's: Mechanical knowledge related to water systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.
