About the role
Westminster Christian Academy is accepting applications for a Business & Communications Teacher for the 2027-28 school year. We seek individuals who are driven by excellence, care deeply about their students, and are willing to develop healthy, nurturing relationships in and outside the classroom. If you believe Westminster might be the place for you, we want to hear from you!
Founded in 1976 as an independent, coeducational school, Westminster Christian Academy provides a comprehensive college preparatory program for 970 students in grades 7 through 12. The school is located in suburban St. Louis County, Missouri, on a 70-acre campus, 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.
Westminster Christian Academy honors Jesus Christ by providing an excellent education, rooted in biblical truth as interpreted by the Westminster Confession of Faith, for the children of Christian parents. Faculty and staff enable students to discover and embrace a biblical view of the world and integrate that view into every area of life.
As part of the Business & Communications team, the Upper School Business Teacher will use a project-based curriculum to develop students' problem solving and innovation skills in the fields of general business, accounting and economics. The Business Teacher will work with a small team to develop innovative approaches for teaching the content area. The course load will include three unique preps.

A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ
Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation
Bachelor's Degree in Business Education or Business

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
