Free Weatherization & Home Performance Training Start your career in the weatherization & home performance field - for free! Learn the fundamentals of building science and making energy efficiency improvements to building structures. Gain a basic understanding of key concepts necessary for entry into the workforce. At the completion of the training, you will receive: OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Certificate NYSWDA Certificate of Training Completion Work Boots and Heavy Jacket A Beginners Tool Kit An opportunity to interview with local potential employers needing entry-level weatherization employees This one week class starts August 8th - register now to reserve your spot! (You must be at least 18 years old and live in Herkimer, Madison or Oneida County, NY. Driver's license preferred.) When: Monday, August 8th - Thursday, August 11th, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday, August 12th, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Lunch is provided.
