- Essential Functions of Affordable Housing Case Manager
- Desired Skills & Experience of Affordable Housing Case Manager
- High School diploma or equivalent, and two years' experience in social services, administrative/customer service, or a related housing industry position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Self-starter with an ability to maintain organized records with efficiency and accuracy under pressure of deadlines, with interruptions.
- Effective conflict resolutions skills with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and creative problem solving.
- Make accurate mathematical calculations.
- Accurately interpret and follow regulations relating to the HCV (Section 8) Program
- Work effectively with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Interpersonal skills with ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
