Weare looking for aGeneral Managerto join our growing Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report to our Senior Director of Fulfillment and will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations and overall performance of our high-volume facility. This individual will oversee all aspects of site performance, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time, with a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and employee engagement. As the leader of an established fulfillment center, this individual will play a critical role in developing and empowering the leadership team, driving continuous improvement, and identifying opportunities to strengthen processes and overall site performance. Job Type: Full-Time, ExemptLocation: 180,000 sq. ft. in Farmers Branch, TX at 12301 N. Stemmons Fwy, Farmers Branch, TX 75234Schedule: This role oversees our Farmers Branch, TX fulfillment center. While this position generally follows a schedule, operational demands during peak and seasonal periods may require leaders to work additional hours beyond their regular schedule. Leaders are expected to maintain a flexible schedule and adjust their working hours as needed to support the business and their teams.Travel: This position requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY up to 3 times per year for internal meetings, leadership development, and team building activities. Additionally, please note the selected individual will be required to travel to our other fulfillment centers for onboarding and training. We reimburse reasonable and necessary business travel expenses.Salary: $139,400 – $174,250 per yearResponsibilities:Oversee all processes and procedures for all inbound, outbound, inventory control and facility operations
Ensure the teams are staffed appropriately to operate at peak efficiency and complete all assigned tasks daily
Manage the work performance of each member of the leadership team to ensure productivity standards and KPI metrics are consistently being met
Identify, lead, and support continuous improvement initiatives that drive customer service, accuracy, and productivity efficiencies while reducing operating cost
Determine the root cause of process opportunities, addressing issues and piloting resolutions to standard
Support the Senior Director of Fulfillment in the standardization of the overall operations of the fulfillment center
Partner and communicate with management/leadership to ensure alignment of objectives, problem solve, provide operational updates, and develop new operational procedure and strategies
Build a high-performing leadership team through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and talent development
Deliver performance reviews and conduct monthly check-ins with each member of the leadership team to establish rapport and provide feedback
Address performance related incidents that arise and recommending a course of action on all disciplinary and personnel issues
Train and develop fulfillment leadership through coaching, mentoring, and effective communication to develop a strong culture of employee engagement
Attend and participate in the HR and cross-functional meetings
Create and promote a safe working environment for all employees while developing a safety culture in which an employee feels safe and comfortable in their areas of responsibility
