Position Overview: A growing organization is seeking a professional and customer-focused Consumer Services Representative to join its Customer Service team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality support to customers by answering questions, resolving concerns, troubleshooting product and service issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Respond to inbound customer calls and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding products, services, orders, and account inquiries. Identify, research, and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. Troubleshoot product and service issues and determine appropriate solutions based on established procedures and available resources. Process customer orders, refunds, replacements, returns, and return authorizations accurately and efficiently. Create, update, and maintain customer accounts and ensure information is accurately documented. Record customer interactions, inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up activities within company systems. Provide accurate product and service information and make appropriate recommendations based on customer needs. Research technical information, service manuals, and internal resources to assist with more complex customer inquiries. Follow established customer service policies, procedures, and quality standards. Collaborate with internal departments as needed to resolve customer issues and ensure a positive experience. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of call-center customer service or corporate customer service experience Excellent verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain professional, patient, and solution-oriented when handling challenging customer situations. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Ability to research information, troubleshoot problems, and make sound decisions. Comfortable reviewing technical information, product documentation, and service manuals. Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software and customer management systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Some college coursework preferred; equivalent business or customer service experience will also be considered.
