Job Description The Journeyman Electrician will play a key role in residential electrical projects by performing installation, troubleshooting, and wiring tasks. As part of a team led by a Lead Electrician, this position requires proficiency with standard electrical tools and occasional local travel to job sites. The role emphasizes collaboration and customer interaction to ensure high-quality electrical system installs and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Install electrical wiring and components in residential settings
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to diagnose and repair issues
- Perform system upgrades and ensure compliance with safety codes
- Engage with customers to explain work and address concerns
- Collaborate effectively with the Lead Electrician and team members
- Use standard electrical tools safely and efficiently
- Travel locally to various job sites as needed
Required Qualifications: Completion of electrical apprenticeship program
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Effective communication and time management
- Ability to work well within a team environment
