About the role
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations
- Track propane tanks, equipment, and supplies to ensure adequate stock
- Coordinate with drivers and delivery teams to schedule and optimize routes
- Process orders and update inventory records in the company system
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates, and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, delivery performance, and logistics metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reduce costs
- Support customer service by providing delivery status updates and resolving logistics issues
- Assist with procurement activities and vendor coordination
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements related to propane handling and transport
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2 or more years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication xevrcyc skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home office setup
- Experience in the propane, fuel, or energy industry
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Experience with route optimization or dispatch software
- Knowledge of the Mid-Missouri region and surrounding areas
