About the role
Assistant Director For School Musical Unami Middle School is accepting applications for an Assistant Director for the school musical. The Assistant Director will support the Musical Director in all facets of the lead director's role, including but not limited to: overseeing all planning and coordination of the show, including identifying team of adult staff to supervise and participate as needed (i.e. Stage, Music, Art, Backstage, Costumes, Choreography, Programs, Clerical, Communication, etc.). All documentation, (including rehearsal schedule, communications and participants list) must be determined by the director and submitted to the principal for approval.
Requirements:
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be able to manage a diverse group of people and be willing to work with elementary school age students. Previous Theatrical/Directing experience is required. Procedure: Apply through the CBSD Employment Portal on or before October 30, 2026*. All employment is provisional for 90 days as required by ACT 168 of 2014, enacted December 22, 2014.
