About the role
JOB OVERVIEW:
Blue Diamond Growers is a grower‑owned cooperative made up of approximately 3,000 growers and is one of the world's leading almond processors and marketers, with $1.7B in annual revenue and products sold across the U.S. and in markets around the world. With a strong manufacturing footprint and deep agricultural roots, BDG is focused on delivering high‑quality almond products through operational excellence, innovation, and partnership.
Reporting to the Chief Global Supply Officer, the role owns the end‑to‑end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process (Demand, Almond Supply, Supply, Integrated Reconciliation), ensuring the company's most critical cross‑functional planning processes deliver measurable financial and operational results. The role acts as the partner for enterprise alignment—connecting strategy, demand, supply, inventory, and execution. IBP is positioned as the main management system of the business, enabling clear trade‑offs, disciplined decision‑making, and predictable value delivery.
As a strategic business partner, the Director of IBP connects executive priorities with operational execution, ensuring the company can effectively balance growth, profitability, customer service, and supply chain performance. The role oversees the monthly IBP/S&OP process, develops scenario planning capabilities, and drives continuous improvement through analytics, technology, and process discipline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise Integrated Business Planning Leadership
Governance, Cadence & Decision Quality
Owns and continuously improves Blue Diamond's end‑to‑end IBP framework, ensuring tight integration between strategic priorities and full‑year execution, demand, supply, and inventory planning, and financial commitments (P&L, cash flow, working capital, capital spend).
Leads, coordinates, and orchestrates the full IBP governance cadence, including Demand Review, Almond Supply Review, Supply Review, and Integrated Reconciliation/Management Review.
Ensures IBP forums are decision‑oriented, with clear visibility of risks, opportunities, gaps between operational plans and financial commitments, and trade‑offs. Reinforces financial discipline by ensuring trade‑offs are explicitly framed, decisions documented, and outcomes tracked (net profit and cash flow).
Embeds scenario planning as a core capability to proactively manage volatility related to demand shifts, crop variability, capacity constraints, and margin pressure.
Establishes IBP as the single source of truth for enterprise volume, mix, capacity, inventory, and service assumptions.
Governance, Cadence & Decision Quality (continued)
Designs and maintains enterprise planning and execution governance that ensures clear decision rights, consistent operating cadence across functions, and executive focus on the highest‑value issues.
Improves decision quality by strengthening data integrity, assumption transparency, scenario comparison and trade‑off visibility, and alignment between strategic intent and execution reality.
Prepares executive‑level materials that are concise, insight‑driven, and focused on actions and decisions.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
