About the role
Job Title Responsibilities:
- Fabricating automotive electrical wire harness assemblies.
- Vehicle electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics.
- Assist engineering staff with instrumenting test articles, test setup, and test breakdown for validation activities.
- Assisting engineering in conducting validation activities, including collecting and documenting needed data. Data collection, documentation, compiling, and analysis during testing.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing of test equipment.
- Build or modify test equipment/fixtures.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Relevant skills and experience with electrical harness fabrication and vehicle test.
- Building prototype wire harnesses assemblies. including soldering electrical wires.
- Vehicle electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics.
- Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.
- Collecting data using a Canalyzer and/or similar devices.
- Experience with high voltage cables for EVs.
- Able to read vehicle and automotive component electrical schematics.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, diagrams, and instructions.
- Basic MS Office knowledge.
