About the Company Hiring: Our client is an established food manufacturing company in Rochester, NY.
About the Job: The Vice President / General Manager will have responsibility for overall business performance, manufacturing operations, financial results and people leadership. This individual will work closely with ownership and senior leadership while maintaining a hands‑on presence across the operation.
Key Responsibilities: Lead day‑to‑day operations across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and other key functions. Own overall business performance, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, quality, safety and continuous improvement. Develop and lead the management team while driving accountability throughout the organization. Evaluate processes, systems and organizational structure to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with ownership and senior leadership on business strategy, capital investments and long‑term growth initiatives. Maintain high standards around food safety, quality, customer service and regulatory compliance. Senior leadership experience within food manufacturing or a closely related manufacturing environment. Proven experience leading manufacturing operations and cross‑functional teams. P&L ownership with a strong understanding of financial and operational performance. Track record of driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and team development.
Compensation: $140,000–$160,000 base salary + bonus potential
