Role Description:
The Human Resources Payroll role at CTC is a part-time remote position responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing and related HR activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and validating payroll data, coordinating with HR and finance teams to resolve discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The role will assist with employee inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and timekeeping, and maintain confidential employee records with strong attention to detail. This position also supports HR operations such as onboarding documentation, updates to employee information, and collaboration on process improvements to enhance payroll and HR efficiency.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, including the ability to interpret and apply policies consistently and support employees with benefit-related questions.
Experience with Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate employee records and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency with payroll systems or HRIS tools, and strong numerical accuracy for payroll calculations and reconciliations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to respond clearly and professionally to employee inquiries.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage part-time remote work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with labor laws and payroll regulations is beneficial; prior experience in IT or professional services environments is a plus.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
