Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProject Accountant SummaryThe Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of complex lighting projects.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist with the planning, coordination, tracking, and execution of lighting and control projects from initiation through completion.Monitor project milestones, deadlines, deliverables, and overall progress to support timely project completion.Communicate with construction teams, clients, manufacturers, vendors, and other project stakeholders.Coordinate product approvals, material storage, delivery requirements, and project schedules.Track purchase orders, product availability, shipping schedules, deliveries, and project timelines.Maintain accurate project information using Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and other project management systems.Prepare and maintain submittal packages, change orders, closeout documents, delivery records, and project status reports.Review project documents, orders, specifications, and material information for accuracy and completeness.Ensure project records and documentation remain organized, current, and accessible.Periodically visit construction sites and warehouse locations to monitor materials, verify delivery status, and address logistical concerns.Education, Essential Skills and QualificationsFour-year college degreeThe ideal candidate must have strong time management, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and utilize these skills in a demanding, multi-tasking environment.Must have the ability to liaise with clients and cross-functional departments in the aggressive resolution of problems to drive timely payments for products and services rendered.Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook)Proficient with Teams and SmartsheetFamiliar with construction-based ERP software such as Sage 100, Acumatica, or similar.Familiar with Quantum, Textura and/or similarStrong quantitative and analytical math skillsProactive and concise written and oral communications skills.EEO StatementChelsea Lighting NYC LLC is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regard to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
