Compensation Plans Clerical/Technical Support Compensation Plan Pay Grade: 4 Shift Type: Full-Time Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Assistant Superintendent - Personnel Services Employment Begins: As soon as possible Primary Purpose: To operate a multi-line switchboard to relay incoming calls, welcome visitors, and serve as a positive public relations advocate for the school district.
Qualifications: Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent Special Knowledge/Skills: Exhibit effective working relationships with staff and school community. Have a service-oriented personality Effective communication, public relation, and interpersonal skills Bilingual preferred; not required Experience: NoneMajor Responsibilities and Duties: Operate a multi-line switchboard and direct calls to specific personnel. Handle telephone calls in a polite and informative manner Greet visitors Respond to telephone inquires regarding school programs and activities Give directions to visitors, clients, and school personnel Perform other duties as assigned
