Inside Sales Representative (Equipment Rental)

Position Summary: As a Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth by developing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and meeting sales goals. You’ll partner closely with the Branch Manager and other sales team members to coordinate rentals, sales, and leases of modular buildings and related services. A majority of this job will be performed from the Salisbury branch, with any travel being local within during business hours. Additionally, this role involves utilizing sales technology to streamline processes and manage customer data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities: Sales Development: Qualify and follow up on incoming leads to convert them into clients. Drive revenue growth by building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Coordinate modular building rentals, sales, and leases to meet customer needs. Attend trade shows and stay informed about industry trends, products, and services. Actively prospect for new business using trade associations, marketing lists, and site visits. Provide timely follow-up with customers and deliver top-notch service. Meet or exceed designated sales targets within the assigned territory. Customer Service & Operations: Troubleshoot and resolve any quality control issues. Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience. Sales Data Management: Use CRM systems to maintain customer data, track leads, and monitor progress. Convert quotes into orders and generate accurate sales reports. Create and modify floor plans using company software. Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Qualifications,

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred. Prior experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably in a high-transaction, B2B environment. (Construction, Equipment Rental, Modular highly preferred!)Skills and

Competencies: Strong organizational and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Experience with CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other computer tools. Comfort with using the phone as a primary tool for prospecting and sales. Ability to travel locally with occasional overnight stays.
