About the role
Driving financial reporting initiatives, the full-time remote Oregon Licensed Actuary will manage valuation, reserve analytics, and earnings analysis while collaborating with various teams to enhance reporting processes and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Own execution and enhancement of reporting, valuation, earnings analysis, FP&A, and hedging, communicating results to senior management
Design and implement reporting support for functions such as VM22, reinsurance, and business integration
Analyze GAAP, statutory, and management reporting results, including reserves, earnings, and capital movements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field preferred
ASA certification required; FSA preferred
5+ years of hands-on experience in the Individual Annuities space
Modeling experience including change management and internal controls required
Experience with GGY AXIS and Python preferred
