Business Developer Detroit / Metro Detroit, Michigan | Remote with 2 days per week, minimum, at client sites Salary up to $100 000, based on relevant experience Permanent contract ✈️ Travel to OEM meetings, company offices & industry events5V Videoare working with a global technology company delivering premium entertainment and content platforms for the automotive industry. They're now looking for aBusiness Developerto support the sales and business development team across the full sales cycle, helping to open new opportunities, develop customer relationships and coordinate commercial activity with internal teams. This is ahands-on, commercially focused rolewhere you'll have the opportunity to build your own network within the automotive OEM space over time.

Day-to-day:

Creatingpresentations, proposals, business cases and commercial offers
Identifying and developingnew business opportunitiesacross target automotive accounts
Building and growing your ownautomotive OEM network
CoordinatingRFQs, RFPs and quotationswith internal Product, Engineering, Delivery and Support teams
Managingpipeline, forecasts and reporting, while keeping opportunities moving
Representing the company incustomer meetings and industry events, while ensuring a smooth handover into project execution

Requirements: •2–5 years' experiencein automotive Business Development or Sales

Good understanding ofautomotive OEMsand how they make purchasing and business decisions
Hands-on experience creatingpresentations, proposals, business cases and commercial offers
A proactivehunter mindset, with the motivation to open new doors and develop new business
Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple opportunities moving
Excellentcommunication and coordination skills
Comfortable taking ownership of pipeline activity and commercial opportunities
Comfortable travelling toclient sites, OEM meetings, company offices and industry events Bonus points for:
Experience within thecontent, entertainment or digital technologyindustry
Experience working with automotive technology or software
An existing network withinautomotive OEMs
Experience managingRFQs/RFPsor complex technology sales processes Important things to know:
Youdon't need an established senior OEM networkfrom day one. The ambition and ability to build one is what matters.
The role isremote-based, with2 days per week onsite at client locations across the Detroit / Metro Detroit area. The company's head office is in Chicago.
